.The Academy is strategically located in Dubai, the fastest growing location in the world in hospitality, travel and tourism. The Emirates Academy of Hospitality Management offers students five main programmes of study, BA (Hons.) in International Tourism Management, BSc (Hons.) in International Hospitality Management, AA in Business and Tourism, ASc in International Hospitality Operations and BTEC National Diploma in Hospitality Supervision. As part of the degree courses the Academy students undertake a minimum 5 months long internship. The internship can be undertaken both in the UAE and abroad. The BTEC National Diploma is a practical, work-related programme. Students learn by completing projects and assignments that are based on realistic workplace situations, activities and demands. As well as learning about the employment area they have chosen, they also develop the skills they need to start a career. Completion of the BTEC may lead to acceptance on the degree programmes.

The Academy has been growing steadily from its initiation in 2001, and will later this year complete the construction of an extension consisting of state of the art auditoria, a number of additional teaching rooms, a large library and other specialized facilities for its students and faculty. The Academy also intends to launch specialized Masters programmes for the Hospitality and Tourism industries.
